Episode 35 - Higher Than A Motherfucker

This week, we talk about UNSW, magicians, clowns, Saints Row 2, Donald Duck in Maui Mallard, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Sunrise: A Song Of Two Humans. Then the news: Zynga are up to no good again, OUYA partners with OnLive, Google readies its whip-fast Fiber service, Apple has games on the brain, Final Fantasy Versus XIII isn't dead, Bing Gordon thinks Nintendo will pull a SEGA, the Humble Bundle crew turn their gaze towards music, EA removes iOS Rock Band, and Sandsky still doesn't care about PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Also, we talk about how civilisation and culture as we know it is crumbling around us. We then bring back Ask Something Something Joystick because who ever wants this podcast to end? We talk about what fictional world we'd like to live in, 'dick juice', marijuana, repressed memories, weird sensations, Polish public transport, Bubsy, Tom's Contrarian Corner, and the twist ending at the end of the dictionary.
Stick around after the show for us talking about the Olympics - ooh! How topical!

Episode 34 - Mo Podcast, Mo Problems

This week, we talk about chicken wings, Max Skelton, mathematics, The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, Ratchet & Clank 2, Quantum Conundrum, Saints Row 2, Ready Player One, surprise SSJ fans, mixing kids with alcohol, and racism. In the news: Battlefield 4 is announced, as is Manos: The Hands of Fate. Two new fighters are confirmed for PSASBR (and Tom doesn't care), we round up some Ouya news (including the Ouya's first exclusive game and its start-up sound), and we talk Deadpool and Ratchet & Clank. Due to 'unpopular lack of demand', we bring back Ask SSJ, which prompts discussion about our new intern Frank(l)in, our 'porno pet peeves', university, internet-speak, herpes, mime lactation, and Nintendo's raunchy history.

Episode 33 - We Should Come Up With Something Faintly Interesting By The End Of The Show

This week, we sit in far-too-comfortable chairs and talk about 'driveby radio', animal rape, the medium of audio, face-to-head ratios, going back to uni, Super Meat Boy, Fez, Tiny Wings 2, Weezer, FBi radio, Official Wife of the Podcast Maude Garrett, and bacteria. The Ouya looks to change the face of gaming, the Angry Birds Trilogy looks to be an irrelevant waste of shelf space, the PS3 looks to have a new slim model, Rocksteady looks to Batman's past for inspiration, Activision looks to Deadpool because apparently it's not making enough money from shooting games, and some guy on eBay looks to really piss off the postal service by purchasing $1.2 million worth of games. Oh, and the absolute highlight of our 33-week podcasting career comes in at around 51:00.

Episode 32 - Piano Dance Mat 4000

This week, we discuss Old Man Withers, cans, and Canadian lottery law (with a cameo appearance from Ruby Giles!) We talk about Spelunky and racism, Spec Ops: The Line and repetition, Ratchet & Clank and nostalgia, and The Amazing Spider-Man's mindless fun. Sony buys Gaikai, EA announces they're going digital (prompting a discussion about the future of digital gaming), Smash Bros WiiU will cut down on characters, Sony releases more PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale details, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD DLC is announced, as is Marvel Vs Capcom: Origins, and Tiny Wings 2. Oh, and Paul McCartney is writing music for Bungie?
We then bring back our new segment 'Ask Something Something Joystick', rate each other's Twitters, think of alternative explanations for the acronym SSJ and experience 'carnal pooplust'.

Episode 31 - The Argyle Gargoyle

This episode, we talk about the carbon tax, Tom's iPad, Spec Ops: The Line, Batman: Arkham CityLego Batman 2, Ratchet & Clank, Scribblenauts Unlimited, the Journey Collectors' Edition, SEGA's restructuring plans, the latest on the 3DS and WiiU, and the possibility of a Final Fantasy VII remake (or lack thereof). Then, just as things are getting a bit gamey, we head into a new segment: Ask Something Something Joystick, where we answer the top 10 questions on AskReddit. All is revealed as we talk about Star Wars, the basics of improv comedy, schoolyard gossip, piranhas, dog vomit, messy breakups, paedophilia and much much more. And, like all good episodes, we close things with a terrible rendition of Fleetwood Mac's immortal classic, Go Your Own Way.
